Taylor Killough

Taylor is a producer and storyteller with a background spanning education, journalism, nonprofits, and creative agencies. Across all these roles, one throughline remains: a drive to craft messages and experiences that stick. Whether managing creative projects for organizations like Facebook and Microsoft or supporting grassroots storytelling efforts across Kentucky, Taylor brings a thoughtful, strategic lens to every phase of production. She describes her superpower as “creating order from chaos”—wrangling words, ideas, and people to bring clarity and cohesion to complex work.

At Solid Light, Taylor is excited to help stories come to life in experiential ways—especially those perspectives that often go untold. She’s drawn to the process of interviewing, where listening and empathy create space for people to reflect on their lives and legacies.

Beyond her professional work, Taylor has been an active member of the Kentucky Rural-Urban Exchange since 2017, where she’s helped build bridges across communities through connection, communication, and place-based storytelling. Her ability to navigate big-picture strategy while staying grounded in human experience makes her a powerful partner for clients and collaborators alike.
