I love storytelling in every form, especially true and impactful stories. I love being part of an insanely talented and passionate team that gets to bring those stories to life in a physical, tactile way that can only be done in museum and exhibit spaces.
Ryan brings a unique blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and storytelling to every project he supports. After more than a decade of service in the U.S. Army, he pursued his passion for visual arts and visual effects at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), earning a BFA with honors.
Following SCAD, Ryan began his career in design construction, developing large-scale fabrication plans for sculptures, exhibits, and entertainment attractions. His diverse background in technology, fabrication, and the arts allows him to bridge creative vision and technical execution in ways that help transform ambitious concepts into meaningful visitor experiences.
At Solid Light, Ryan creates engaging media content for museum exhibits while developing, training, and maintaining digital interactives that help bring stories to life. His expertise spans 3D design, visual effects, production workflows, and automated fabrication technologies, enabling him to develop innovative solutions to the unique challenges that accompany immersive exhibit experiences.
