One thing people might be surprised to learn about me is that my greatest project management win happened outside of work. I planned my wedding and managed the timeline day-of, and at exactly 11:00 p.m., my dance floor playlist ended just as the buses arrived to take guests back to their hotels. It was peak project management satisfaction!
Lauren brings a decade of nonprofit cultural sector experience to her role as Project Manager at Solid Light, where she excels at bridging creative vision with logistical execution. With a B.A. in music & business and an M.A. in arts administration, she developed a strong foundation in project management while serving as Director of Advancement for a Miami-based classical music ensemble and Program Manager at Yale School of Music.
Her unique combination of artistic sensibility and organizational expertise allows Lauren to effectively translate creative concepts into realized projects, while her clear communication systems and detail-oriented approach ensure smooth project execution. Drawn to Solid Light by the opportunity to work with cultural organizations in a creative environment, Lauren guides the client through the process to build educational experiences for the communities they serve. One of her favorite projects has been collaborating with the New England Aquarium and Solid Light’s design and fabrication teams to refresh wayfinding and interpretive signage, bringing new life to science communication while learning plenty of fish facts along the way.
