Jacob Davis

A Louisville native, Jacob holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and music, blending this analytical expertise with artistic expression. Drawn to Solid Light’s unique integration of creative design with the fabrication process, Jacob brings a strong foundation in 3D modeling and mathematics, an eager-to-learn attitude, and meticulous attention to detail. He is committed to delivering quality work as a Detail Designer and hopes to become a reliable member of the fabrication team, develop his practical knowledge of construction and fabrication processes, and hone his skills alongside Solid Light’s experienced team.

Beyond his role at Solid Light, Jacob is a member of the Louisville Bridge Fellows, a career and leadership development program for college graduates looking to strengthen Louisville through faith by serving businesses, volunteering, and community-building efforts.
