Jackson King

Prior to becoming the Director of Project Management at Solid Light, Jackson was hired as a Fabrication Specialist. He was the lead Fabrication Specialist for Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center Phase 1 and was promoted to Fabrication Project Coordinator. Jackson has been a craftsman throughout his career, leveraging a systematic methodology from years of first-hand experience in scenic carpentry, woodworking, metal fabrication, and cabinetmaking. He has also built sets for the noted Steppenwolf Theatre and other Chicago-based theater companies.

Jackson’s dedication and knack for heading off problems before they derail a project led to his position as a Project Manager where he worked on many successful museum exhibits, branded environments, retail experiences, and various hospitality venues. Now as the Director of Project Management, Jackson converts his experience-backed knowledge to lead the Project Management team to new ways of thinking.
