Chris is a collaborative, systems-minded leader whose career at Solid Light reflects a deep understanding of how creative vision becomes built reality. Since joining the firm in 2014, Chris has played a pivotal role in strengthening operations, aligning teams, and delivering complex projects with clarity, consistency, and care.
From 2021-2026, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all project delivery while leading operational systems, process alignment, and cross-disciplinary coordination. In this role, he has guided significant team growth, refined internal workflows, and helped scale Solid Light’s operations without losing sight of quality or client experience. As President, Chris expands his focus to include enterprise-wide alignment, future-facing market development, and deeper engagement with clients and partners. This progression reflects both his steady leadership and his ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Chris’s leadership is grounded in a foundation of fine arts, fabrication, and project management. He holds a degree in Fine Arts and began his career as a visual artist and sculptor before moving into high-end custom fabrication for museum and exhibit projects. At Solid Light, he progressed through roles including Fabrication Specialist, Fabrication Manager, and Director of Project Management, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the creative process from concept through construction.
Often described as the operational glue of the organization, Chris excels at integrating design, fabrication, and project management into a seamless process. He coordinates internal teams and external stakeholders with precision and transparency, ensuring expectations are aligned and projects move forward with confidence. In addition to overseeing operations, Chris is actively involved in market development, working with prospective clients and partners to help shape the future of Solid Light’s work and impact.
