Earlier this month, client Inland Waterways Museum, formerly known as River Discovery Center, in Paducah, KY celebrated its 20th anniversary. Alongside this milestone date, the institution announced its rebranding to reflect a renewed mission and purpose, to educate the nation about the significance of the inland waterways that run through it. With its new name and plans for expansion, the museum is poised to become an even more significant part of Paducah’s cultural landscape.
Solid Light Owner and CEO, Cynthia Torp, Project Manager, Athena F. Richardson, and Senior Designer, Mark Rosenthal, attended this reception to honor the anniversary and share what the collaboration between our teams means for the future as Solid Light continues the design process for the exhibit expansion.
Cynthia Torp spoke at the celebratory event. “We have been working with the Inland Waterways Museum since 2022 to bring the institution’s mission alive and develop experiences for people of all ages. My team and I are thrilled and honored to be a part of looking into the future, together.” This collaboration is set to bring a fresh perspective and a new approach to the museum’s exhibits and educational programs.
