Louisville, Kentucky—On May 8, 2018, Solid Light, LLC was recognized as 2018 Small Business of the Year by Greater Louisville Inc. during the 18th annual Inc.credible Awards at the Kentucky Center of the Arts.
The Inc.credible Awards celebrate small businesses that stimulate growth and innovation in the greater Louisville area. To qualify, companies must have fewer than 100 employees, be locally owned and operated, and have been operating since before Jan. 1, 2015.
Solid Light designs and builds visitor experiences to engage, enlighten and inspire. Accepting the award on behalf of owner Cynthia Torp, Jonathan Nofke, executive director of project finance, said he’s seen the company grow from about 12 employees to nearly 40.
“We are, at the heart of it, a Louisville company, and we’re very, very proud to call ourselves Louisvillians,” Nofke said. “It’s gratifying to be a part of the small business community and see your work everywhere you go.”
