We’re off to the races! Solid Light is thrilled to partner with the Kentucky Derby Museum to bring the story of the world’s most famous Thoroughbred racehorse, Secretariat, to life. The project kicked off in August 2022 and has been on a record pace ever since.
Secretariat: America’s Horse is located at the top of the stairway overlooking the Great Hall, where the 360-degree movie, “The Greatest Race” runs every day. The new 1,000 sq ft. exhibit celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Secretariat’s Triple Crown win, introduces Secretariat’s team, and tells the story of his ever-increasing celebrity status since his unbeaten, record-setting wins. Secretariat also features five media installations, providing an entertaining and educational visitor experience.
The exhibit opens to the public April 21, 2023, just in time for the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby.
